🎸 Legal ceremony? Check
🎤 Elvis in a jumpsuit? Optional, but highly encouraged.

Let’s make it official (or just ridiculously fun).

Book Your Ceremony at Graceland Chapel

After your ceremony, your Officiant will file your marriage certificate with the Clark County Recorder’s Office.  They have up to 10 days to complete this step. Once it’s officially recorded, you can order your Certified Marriage Certificate online.

This certified document is your legal proof of marriage and is often needed for things like name changes, insurance, immigration paperwork, or just framing on your wall to prove you tied the knot in Vegas!

You can order your certificate directly from the Clark County Recorder’s website:

If you’re getting married in Las Vegas and plan to use your marriage certificate in another country, you may need a Nevada Apostille, a form of international certification that proves your marriage is legally recognized abroad.

The Apostille is not required for everyone.  Only some countries ask for it. We recommend checking with your local government or embassy to see if it’s necessary for your situation.

How to Get an Apostille Yourself:

If your country does require one, you can request an Apostille through the Nevada Secretary of State’s Office, but please note:

  • You must first receive your Certified Marriage Certificate.
  • You’ll then need to mail your certificate (and required forms) to the Secretary of State in Carson City, Nevada.
  • The process can involve weeks to months of processing and back-and-forth shipping, especially for international requests.

Want us to handle it for you?

Graceland Chapel offers an Apostille Processing Service to make the process faster and stress-free. We’ll take care of everything — from obtaining the certified marriage certificate to submitting the necessary documents and shipping the completed Apostille directly to you.
